After an 81-67 victory over the Tennessee Prep Diplomats, silky-shooter and senior forward Micah Thomas received an offer to play collegiately at Louisville University. The Irish and a potential future Cardinal flew high again, but it took some extra effort to soar over the defense in this game.
Competitors take things personally, even in exhibitions.
At 1:27 in the third quarter with the score 78-45, senior forward Miles Bridges threw a fake to the corner, indicated for a pass to be in the air between himself and the basket, then ended senior guard/forward Luka Petrovic’s connection with a double-pump reverse slam.
It was another day at the office for the Irish.
The Warriors hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina spread the floor and called their motion plays, but it was the motions of the Fighting Irish that brought the crowd to their feet in the end.
Marshall University head coach Dan D’Antoni likes to spread the floor on offense and over the offseason he recruited players that fit his style.
One such player is new edition Christian Thieneman. The six-foot-five, 205 pound forward committed to Marshall University October 4th, 2014.

Norrisha Victrum is no longer thinking about upkeep on her knee, but a greater task at hand: winning a conference championship ring.
